I know I was petty, but sometimes I get tired of having to 2nd Amendment 1791 defend yourself shirt long distances or just wait in the van while a person comes back from “just stopping for a sec.” at a store, forgetting that we have to make a great effort to make it to the store if we park far away and sometimes getting out of the van is impossible because we NEED the extra space right next to the door, to get our equipment (wheelchair, walker, etc.) and can´t do that if we park in a full parking lot. I was living in an overpopulated section of Central LA, it was the middle of summer at the height of the heatwave. I had been working a 12-hour gig, and that didn't include the four hours of driving time, you have to include any time you set foot on a California highway. When I got home that night, I saw a little ball of fur, with the biggest brown eyes, looking up at me.
My husband had bought me a new puppy. That was the absolute best. That’s probably because you’re shy. Perhaps you’re an introvert. But just being an introvert doesn’t mean you gotta think everybody’s against you or something. Just try not to be silly or insensible or cruel or mean, as long as you have a good conversation that makes sense and as long as that person isn’t a jerk or something, then I’m sure you can talk to them. But don’t blame it on yourself if there’s no reason to do so. If you have a bad reputation, well that’s something else. My guess is that this is still very new and your older boy is still very infatuated with his baby brother but in time his immense feelings will start to level off especially when he gets distracted with other intense feelings about girls. He's always going to love his brother and I'm certain he feels like his protector and that's a great thing to have growing up.
